ICT as Medium for Advocacy

1. How Information and Communications and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior High School.

- The Information and Communications and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies in grade school to now (Senior High School) by enhancing the quality of education in several ways: by increasing learner motivation and engagement, by facilitating the acquisition of basic skills, and by enhancing teacher training.

2. Consider the following for comparison. 

    a. The singing of the national anthem (Form a line, sing the national anthem with conductor) 

- ICT transformed the singing of national anthem by hearing the song national anthem using the virtual  with laptop with a video presentation, our voice overlap the music background from the laptop and without a conductor. Unlike before, we need to form a line and need a conductor.

    b. Concepts notes

- ICT transformed making concept notes by taking a picture of our notes or download and we can write our text on computer using the MS WORD. Unlike before, we can only write it down on paper.

    c. Presentation of visual aids 

- ICT  transformed making presentation of visual aids by using MS PowerPoint. Unlike before, we can only use Manila papers and write.

    d. Class record 

- ICT transformed making class records by using MS Excel or Electronics class record. Unlike before, we can only record it manually in a record book.

    e. Class dismissal 

- ICT didn't transform anything just by dismissing the students.

    f. Assignment and research

- ICT transformed making assignments and research by now making it easier to search in the internet (but with credible source). Unlike before, we only have to find it really hard in libraries.
